The V-Gard 950 Class 2 safety helmet has been developed for electrical activities requiring demanding arc flash protection up to 7 kA. This
balanced and lightweight unvented electrician‘s safety helmet features an integrated clear GS-ET-29 Class 2 faceshield and MSA-unique neck & ear flap protection, which can be stowed on the helmet. The clear faceshield offers a light transmittance greater than 75%, providing the user with an optimal and secured colour recognition to get the job done safely and securely.

Face Shield Features

• Protects against impact, chemical splash, Ultra-Violet radiation, molten metal splash and electric arc to GS-ET-29 Class 2 (7kA)

• Clear light blue tinted integrated faceshield with light transmittance greater than or equal to 75%

• Premium anti-fog/anti-scratch coated visor fits over all corrective and safety glasses

• Layer of flame resistant foam at the top of the visor for enhanced seal to the shell

• Reliable single handed smooth movement, even when wearing gloves

• 2 face shield positions (up or completely down)

• Tool free face-shield replacement

Suspension Features

• 6-point Fas-Trac® III ratchet suspension with premium washable and replaceable sweatband

• Head straps in woven polyester providing high comfort and long term, consistent shock absorption performance

• Balance and stability with a lower nape strap

• Comfort pad to separate the ratchet from the head increasing comfort and cooling airflow

• Ratchet offers smooth rotation

• Easy grip ratchet adjustable even with gloves

• Three levels of nape height adjustment giving superior fit

Extended Ear and Neck Flap Features

• Unique extended arc flash ear and neck flap system to ensure protection against arc flash (arc flash resistant textile; GS-ET-29 Class 2)

• Orange color inside (visible in upper/stand-by position) and grey color outside (visible in down/safety position) so you can visibly see when workers are protected

• Hand wash (40°C)
