Description:

The Vortex tube for heating and cooling breathing air is the simplest way to regulate air temperature. Attach the tube to the belt as an inline component between the headtop and the compressed‑air supply hose. The Vortex requires no electricity, making it safe for use in EX zones / offshore environments.

The unit uses only clean, compressed air to generate warm or cold air. Temperature and airflow are easily adjusted using the control dial on top of the tube. The performance of the unit depends on air pressure and available capacity. With an air pressure of 4–5 bar, temperatures above 40°C can be achieved. The air pressure should not exceed 8 bar.
