Socks Devold Light Thin

DEVOLD® ANTI FLAME SOCK is a durable and comfortable sock that provides protection against flames and heat. It is knitted from a high-quality blend of wool and Lenzing FR®, with polyamide added for extra durability. The sock keeps feet warm, offers a great fit, and provides basic flame protection by preventing the fabric from continuing to burn.

The ANTI FLAME SOCK is designed for environments with short-term exposure to flames and heat. It withstands some convective heat and offers limited protection against radiant heat.

Socks cannot be certified, but the ANTI FLAME SOCK has been tested against the requirements of EN ISO 11612 and has achieved the following results:

• A1 + A2 – Limited flame spread: The fabric stops burning immediately after the flame is removed.
  - A1: Tested for surface ignition (flames on the fabric surface).
  - A2: Tested for edge ignition (flames on fabric edges).
   
• B1 – Protection against convective heat: The fabric withstands some heat exposure from flames but provides only short-term protection compared to higher levels (B2 and B3).
   
• C1 – Protection against radiant heat: Provides limited protection against low-intensity radiant heat.
